A selection of my favourite moments
Thanks for showing an interest in my wedding photography services. Feel free to take a look at a selection of my favourite moments below and get a feel for my photographic style. Being based in Bedfordshire, I’m ideally situated to offer wedding photography services across Southern England, so if you fancy a chat, send me a message here.
My approach to wedding photography
As you browse thorough some of my favourite albums below, you’ll get a real feel for my documentary style. With an unobtrusive approach, I’m able to capture real moments as they unfold so you get the complete story of your day. My work begins months before your wedding day as I meet with you to share ideas, visit the venue to seek out the most beautiful areas and create your wedding shotlist, and even after the big day I spend a good week digitally processing the photographs. I do hope you enjoy scrolling through my albums but should you need any further help or assistance, feel free to send me a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
Documentary Wedding photographer covering the whole of the UK
Being a wedding photographer in Bedford is great, not just because of the wonderful locations in Bedfordshire and the surrounding areas, but because I’m ideally situated to offer my photography services throughout the UK. It’s always such an honour to be invited to photograph a wedding and that’s why I rarely charge extra for travel. I’ve always been willing to drive up or down the country to capture those special moments, so whether you’re just a few miles away from me or 1,000, I’d love to hear from you.
Telling the story of your special day
Throughout the course of the day there are particular moments that need to be captured. There’s the getting ready shots, guests arriving, the groom and the best man waiting for the bride at the ceremony, the ceremony itself and the exchanging of the rings, the reception party entailing the speeches, the first dance and the cutting of the cake, and of course there’s the after party. I understand you may have your own unique requirements and that’s why I always work with couples to agree a ‘shot list’ prior to the wedding. I carry this checklist around with me on the day, ticking off the items/people I’ve photographed so nobody gets left out. I have three main wedding photography packages to choose from; Short and Sweet, Sunrise to Sunset and The Complete Works. If you’re not entirely sure what you’d like covered, that’s no problem as I’d be happy to discuss everything in person over a cup of tea or coffee. I’m based in Cotton End, Bedfordshire but I’m very felxible. You can visit my home office, have me pay you a visit, or catchup at your local coffee shop, it’s completely up to you.
Let’s talk about your big day…
No matter where you’re based in the UK, if you’d like to register your interest in my wedding photography services, you can do so by completing this quick and easy form. I often meet with couples in person before agreeing on a package, and I’m more than happy to come to your house or your favourite coffee shop to run through my portfolio, experience and photographic style in more detail. It’s always a proud moment to be chosen as the official wedding photographer, and I feel it’s important to be as flexible as possible, which is why I always make time for my clients should they want to run over any photo ideas in more detail.
Final Words: Why choose Ben Taylor as your official wedding photographer?
One of the main advantages of choosing me as your official wedding photographer is the fact that I always have my assistant and my partner Kim to help me capture more of those important moments from different angles. We’re both on the move throughout the course of the day, capturing candid shots of you, your guests, the scenery and the smaller details that often go unnoticed. We do hope you enjoy checking out our wedding albums but if you do have any questions in the meantime feel free to send me a message here. As you’ll gather when you’re browsing my collections, I enjoy bringing out the colours of a wedding day. Most brides and grooms put a lot of thought into colour shemes and I feel it’s part of my job to show these palettes in all of their beauty. As much as I love photographing each wedding, whether that’s in Bedford, Cambridge, London, Manchester or any other location in the UK, I enjoy the post-production stage just as much – because it’s the stage where the colours really come to life. I use the latest industry software and techniques to produce high quality images, and when the work is complete (generally within two weeks), they’ll be presented to you on a personalised, wooden memory stick within a handcrafted storage box. So, if you’re looking for a wedding photographer in Bedfordshire or any other location in the UK, and you’d like to meet up with me to discuss your needs, feel free to send me a message here. Thanks for checking out my work, I look forward to hearing from you.
