Ben’s Wedding Photography Breakdown

One of the reasons why I love photographing weddings so much is that no two are ever the same. I know every couple has their own unique requirements, but to make things easier, I’ve created a breakdown to give you a more complete idea on what a full day’s coverage includes, whilst my pricing brochure can be requested here.

 Wedding Prices and Packages

Wedding photography is a huge part of your big day, and hiring the right photographer is an investment, and one that should be made carefully. If I can offer any advice to you during this stage, it would be to choose a photographer on his or her photographic style and personality, not on price. I think it’s important to not only trust your gut, but to do your homework first when you’re looking at a number of wedding photographers in Bedfordshire, Cambridge, Hertfordshire or any other location in the UK, because when you find the perfect individual, you’ll know it.

If you like what you see on my website feel free to request your pricing brochure here. I know that every couple has different needs, so I will always come back to you with three bespoke packages. Every one of them will include a second photographer and stunning images stored on a personalised wooden USB stick, whilst there are absolutely no hidden costs or cheeky download fees for guests. I’ll even deliver the images to your door. If you have any questions about any of the packages below, feel free to send me a message here or by using the contact form at the bottom of the page.

Full day packages start from £1650

Coverage

Our full day coverage which suits most couples is 12 hours of wedding photography.

Second Photographer

The second photographer, my partner Kim, will also take photos throughout the day. Weddings move pretty quickly and so many wonderful moments are happening all of the time, and that’s exactly why I feel it’s important to have an extra pair of hands. Working together, we’re able to document the complete story of your day, whilst key moments are always taken from two perspectives. This also means we’re able to add more candid photographs to your final album. For quality and consistency, I process all of the photographs taken on the day so my style always shines through.

Bespoke Wooden Keepsake Box and Memory Stick

As a thank you for putting your faith in me, your final photographs will be presented on a personalised memory stick (with your names and wedding date etched into the wood). This comes in a super smart wooden keepsake box, which is also personalised for you, whilst I also include a handful of printouts, ready to go straight into a frame.

Shotlist and Moodboards

As standard, I always provide clients with a wedding photography ‘shotlist’ which we run through together before the wedding day. This gives us a checklist of shots you’d like us to take on the day, and it helps ensure no loved ones are missed out! We also create moodboards and these help us better understand the types of photos you’d like us to achieve.

Fully Insured with a Backup Plan

We are fully insured with public liability and professional indemnity insurance, whilst our camera equipment is also covered, we also make sure to bring back-up camera equipment, such as an additional camera, lenses, flashes whilst we always go overboard with batteries!

Unlimited Consultations

We are happy to meet with you as often or as little as you like. Any excuse for a cup of coffee! So whether you’d like to talk about your photo ideas or just want a chat, we love to get to know our couples before their big day.

What are you looking for in a wedding photographer?

I pride myself on being very flexible with my wedding photography services, and though the majority of bookings are for full day coverage, I know that’s not what every couple needs. Whether you’d like me to shoot for 4 hours, 6 hours or 12 hours, I’m happy to offer my service to you, and you only need to send me a message to speak more about your ideas.

Tailored Pricing

I do not believe there is a one size fits all package for wedding photography and that’s exactly why I take on a more tailored approach. Every bride and groom will have different needs in terms of what they want photographed, how long they require a photographer for, and whether or not they need a traditional wedding album.

Weekday Wedding?

Did you know that in most cases I am able to offer a reduced rate for weekday wedding? If this is something you’re interested in, please feel free to send me a message and I’ll come back to you with more details as soon as possible. This generous discount is continuously available Monday to Friday but bank holidays are not included.

Full UK Coverage

No matter where you’re based in the UK, I’m more than happy to travel hundreds or thousands of miles to document your wedding story. I’m based in Bedfordshire, but in the event that you’d like me to travel further afield, I will always ensure costs are kept as low as possible.

Request my pricing brochure

You can request your bespoke pricing brochure by leaving just a few of your details. Before I can send the PDF brochure over to you, I may need to ask for some further information on your wedding and the type of package you’re looking forI will generally produce three example packages for you to choose between, but should you have any questions at all about my services, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Check out some of my recent work:

I believe that finding the right photographer for your wedding is one of the biggest decisions you’re likely to make. Us photographers all have our unique personalities, equipment and photographic styles, and finding the right individual takes time. I know that I’m not always going to be the most suitable photographer for every couple – though I’d love it if I was! If I can offer you any advice during this important stage of wedding planning, it’s to look through a photographer’s work in great detail, and if you like what you see, then arrange a catch-up over a cup of coffee to spend some time getting to know each other. Why not take a look at some of my recent work to get a better idea on my mix of documentary and contemporary wedding photography.
